Acne has a 90 day lifecycle, so we guide and coach you through clearing during this time with appointments every two weeks to monitor progress. As you clear, we adapt your protocol to your skin needs and acne types. We keep an eye on how your skin responds and optimize your daily routine to support you through clearing. The key to reaching your goals is patience and daily consistency.
We Treat Acne in Stages:
Week 1-4 is acclimation period. We slowly introduce actives. This slow approach reduces side effects. Week 3-6 we target bacteria. Purging is normal and expected. Frequency and duration of use of actives is increased depending response. Week 7-9 is the turning point. Often skin is significantly clearer.
Week 10-14 is adjustments + clarity. We adjust for dryness and for any remaining types of acne. Clients see noticeable improvement in their acne and skin texture, tone and clarity around 3 months.
Because it takes up to 90 days for acne to form, you will have 90 days of acne that will surface so It is imperative to see you every two weeks during clearing to evolve your routine and treatments to both prevent acne from forming and correct existing acne.
Cost of clearing is individual but expect to pay between $1,300 to $1,500 in our clearing program. This cost covers treatments, coaching, home care, product strength adjustments and product refills.
The average is 12 -14 weeks but some things hinder clearing in this timeframe such as daily compliancy, sensitive skin, underlying skin conditions, certain medications, allergic reactions and not seeing you every 2 weeks to make the necessary adjustments to clear and prevent acne from forming.
Clearing with us starts with an Acne Program Consultation. Our consultation is a time to better understand your personal circumstances, concerns, questions and whether you’re a good candidate for our clearing program. We will evaluate your skin and acne and map out a plan of how we will clear your skin and what will be involved to get you clear. A consultation is required to start our clearing program. We clear mild to severe acne through our program. You will complete an intake from us you’ll receive via text prior to your appointment.
